Edinburgh International Festival is a globally known arts festival and a key calendar event in the Scotland and the UK. Their brief was to update their digital presence with a new look and experience to match the quality of their performers. The EIF branding was to remain as was with a one update to the focus colour which would be used throughout other digital channels. The main objective was to have an easy to search and discover online guide to the years events. The paper based event guides were still a large part of the customer experience. The booking system was being integrated by a third party and was not part of the project.
